The PRHC Foundation team was deeply saddened to learn about the recent passing of Francoise (Fran) Anderson, one of our Cardiac Cath Lab Ambassadors. Fran was a "little lady with a big heart" who was so grateful for the lifesaving care she received in the Cath Lab, that she offered to lend her story and her name to our fundraising efforts.While none of us know how long our lives will be, Fran’s family has reached out to tell us how grateful she was to have six more months with her loved ones. So grateful in fact, that she wanted her campaign to support this vital cause to continue after her death. They tell us she was so enthusiastic about the care she received in the Cath Lab at Peterborough Regional Health Centre last spring, that she called this project the last gift she would give her family and community. So, here, for the last time, we present Fran's story. We’re honoured by and so grateful for her and her family’s passion and generosity – thank you.
